Ross gay family

Ross Gay (born August 1, ) is an American poet, essayist, and professor of English at Indiana University who won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry and the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award for his book Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude, which was also a finalist for the National Book Award for Poetry.
Early Life Ross Gay was born into a Youngstown, Ohio, family on August 1, However, as he became older, he and his family would move to Levittown, Pennsylvania, where he grew up. It was clear from a young age that poetry connected with Gay, who went on to study at Lafayette College, earning his BA in the process.
